Geometry as Representation: A Temporal-Rate Ontology for Relativity and Quantum Theory
Abstract
This paper develops an ontological interpretation of General Relativity, cosmology, and quantum theory in which spacetime geometry is treated as representational rather than fundamental. A minimal axiomatic framework is introduced in which temporal rate is ontologically primitive, while geometric structure emerges as an effective encoding of compatibility relations. The framework introduces no new dynamics and preserves the empirical content of existing theories, aiming instead to clarify the conceptual foundations underlying their formal structure.
