Using communication as a paradigmatic field, the volume examines how human, artificial, and hybrid systems can be described as coherent state spaces beyond discourse models and autopoiesis. The Interaction Energy Quotient (IEQ) is introduced as a functional measure of communicative quality. Communication is analyzed in terms of structural coherence, energetic efficiency, and stability rather than normative validity. Human–AI interaction is treated not as an exception but as a boundary case for contemporary theories of communication.
