Cosmological Consequences of Bounded Curvature Spacetime
Abstract
Cosmological Consequences of Bounded Curvature Spacetime If spacetime curvature is bounded by a universal saturation scale, the global structure and early history of the universe are necessarily modified. Building on a bounded-curvature extension of General Relativity, we examine the cosmological consequences of such saturation without committing to specific microphysical models. We analyze finite-start, bounce, and emergent early-universe scenarios, focusing on horizon structure, entropy flow, and the conditions under which standard expansion or inflation may follow. We show that singular initial conditions are generically replaced by finite, geometrically constrained states, while preserving causal structure and large-scale homogeneity. Observational consistency is discussed at a qualitative level, emphasizing that many effects of bounded curvature are naturally suppressed at late times.
