Abstract

Faramesh Core Specification v1.0 (Normative) defines an interoperable, testable execution-time authorization control plane for AI/agent systems. It standardizes canonical action representation (CAR), deterministic evaluation semantics, request hashing, policy version binding, risk escalation rules, approval gating, immutable decision provenance records, and replay verification without re-execution. This release is intended for implementers building Faramesh-compatible servers, SDKs, CLIs, and integrations. The specification is written using RFC 2119 normative language and includes conformance requirements covering canonicalization stability, fail-closed decision behavior, lifecycle state transitions, append-only hash-chained provenance, and deterministic replay.
