Primordial Perturbations and Inflation in Bounded Curvature Spacetime
Abstract
Primordial Perturbations and Inflation in Bounded Curvature Spacetime We investigate the behaviour of primordial perturbations in a cosmological setting where spacetime curvature is subject to a universal saturation bound. Without selecting a specific inflationary model, we examine how perturbations evolve near saturation and during the transition to standard expansion. We argue that perturbative degrees of freedom generically undergo freeze-out as curvature approaches its maximum, leading to strong suppression of pre-saturation structure. Inflationary dynamics, when present, dominate the resulting perturbation spectrum, rendering any inherited imprint subdominant and potentially observable only on the largest scales. The analysis highlights which qualitative features are unavoidable consequences of bounded curvature and which depend on model-specific choices.
