Steering Active-Colloid Assembly by Biasing Dissipation
Abstract
This Zenodo archive provides the simulation data and analysis codes supporting the paper: “Steering Active-Colloid Assembly by Biasing Dissipation”Chaoqun Du, Zhiyu Cao, Zhonghuai Hou (2026). The dataset contains numerical simulation trajectories and post-processing scripts used to study dissipation-biased self-assembly in active colloidal systems. Specifically, it includes: - Raw simulation trajectory dump files generated from dissipation-biased Brownian dynamics simulations of active core–corona colloids. - Clone information is provided in `clone_info.rar`: - Column 1–3: dissipation, clone index (clone number), and father ID (ancestor ID) for the cloning procedure. - Column 4–6: time-resolved phase composition (fractions of disordered, stripe, and trimer states). - Python analysis scripts are included to compute the effective energy landscape, dissipation-versus-time trajectories, and the time evolution of the disordered/stripe/trimer fractions, and to reproduce all figures reported in the manuscript. The data are provided to ensure full reproducibility of the results presented in the paper and to facilitate further studies of nonequilibrium self-assembly and dissipation-controlled dynamics. All quantities, parameters, and analysis procedures follow the definitions and conventions described in the manuscript and its Supplementary Materials.
