Abstract

Lestrade is a Python package designed for non-real-time transient-host matching in the Legacy Survey of Space and Time (LSST) Deep Drilling Fields. Designed as a companion to the real-time contextual classification software Sherlock, it allows for the downloading, analysis and use of Vizier Deep Drilling Field catalogues in transient science.
