Abstract

This document constitutes the final deliverable for WP5, providing a comprehensive report on the three use cases—airline consortia, cloud security, and automotive—addressed within the CONFIDENTIAL6G project. It presents the finalized specific requirements aligned with developments in WPs 2-4 and details the implementation, integration, and validation efforts achieved throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, the report offers an in-depth analysis of the use cases and integration strategies employed in pilot deployments, with a focus on confidential computing and networking technologies enabling secure computation and communication without exposing data to unauthorized parties. The core sections deliver a thorough review of each use case, including introductions, architectural overviews, and descriptions of key components. Detailed requirements covering security, performance, scalability, and regulatory compliance are provided alongside the finalized integration and testing strategies. The report concludes with a synthesis of key findings, lessons learned, and recommendations for future research and deployment. The three use cases together showcase a coherent portfolio of privacy-preserving, secure, and AI-enabled infrastructures across aviation, telecom, and intelligent mobility domains: a consortium-wide predictive maintenance framework for airlines that protects sensitive asset metadata while enabling federated edge analytics; an integrated confidential computing platform for telecom clouds that automates the management of trusted execution environments and secure workloads to mitigate insider and infrastructure threats; and a secure foundation for intelligent connected vehicles that combines trustworthy OTA updates, blockchain-backed integrity and identity management, and robust federated learning to support mission-critical services while safeguarding in-vehicle data.
