Abstract

BaroKit is a comprehensive open-source toolbox designed for the assessment of arterial baroreflex sensitivity (BRS). It provides implementations of three major methods: the novel Adaptive-Lag Sequence method (AL-BRS), the standard Fixed-Lag Sequence method, and the Frequency-domain Spectral method (Welch’s periodogram). The toolbox is available in both MATLAB and R to ensure reproducibility across different research environments.
