Abstract

OmniBrowse is a multimodal, voice-driven universal browser automation agent powered by Gemini 3, designed to perform complex web tasks through natural language commands and vision-based interface understanding. The system integrates speech-to-text intent parsing, multimodal reasoning, multi-agent task orchestration, vision-based UI perception, automated browser control, persistent memory, and real-time conversational feedback to enable safe, explainable, and autonomous web interaction. Unlike traditional rule-based automation tools that rely on static DOM selectors, OmniBrowse operates through a closed-loop perception–reasoning–action–verification–feedback architecture, allowing it to dynamically interpret web interfaces, execute multi-step workflows, recover from failures, adapt to UI changes, and improve performance across repeated sessions. The framework incorporates a Safety and Permission Gate with a Human Consent Protocol to ensure privacy-aware handling of sensitive user information. The system is evaluated across real-world browsing scenarios including navigation tasks, information retrieval, coding platform interaction, form completion, and long-horizon multi-step workflows. Experimental results demonstrate high task success rates, strong robustness to UI variation, effective failure recovery, memory-driven performance improvements, and high user satisfaction due to transparent spoken explanations. This work contributes a general-purpose, explainable, and ethically aligned browser agent architecture, advancing research in multimodal AI, autonomous agents, human–AI interaction, and real-world web automation.
