Abstract

Paper 60G tests whether public BAO wiggles are better treated as a stable spectral “gate footprint” of mode admissibility, rather than as evidence that a uniquely recoverable localized real-space kernel (standard ruler) must exist under conservative analysis. Using public BOSS DR12 Beutler monopole power-spectrum products, we apply a declared governance-grade protocol: a fixed reporting band, in-band resolution normalization by band-limited interpolation (no extrapolation), a fixed detrend and amplitude-floor rule, and a finite identifiability perturbation set (ID-G). Fourier residual morphology is summarized with fixed KPIs (band contrast, oscillation count, persistence index, and an optional declared phase-regularity proxy). Configuration space is evaluated only through an inverse-mapped proxy computed from the same band-limited residuals and scored by kernel non-compulsion under a Paper 60E–consistent recovery class. To close the principal “tautology” objection, we include a kernel-injection capability control under the identical operator class, demonstrating that localized kernels are recoverable when they exist. Under this contract, public BAO products exhibit ID-G-stable, multi-period residual morphology in Fourier space, while the inverse proxy remains broadband and multi-lobed and does not compel a uniquely recoverable localized kernel. The capability control confirms that this outcome is empirical rather than an artifact of band limitation. These results support the viability of the gate-footprint interpretation and provide a falsifiable discrimination test against kernel-compelled explanations under declared governance.
