PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN AI UNTUK SIMULASI PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP KETERLIBATAN BELAJAR (STUDI PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS HKBP NOMMENSEN MEDAN)

ABSTRACTThe development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education hasencouraged various learning innovations, including AI-basedlearning simulations. This study aims to analyze the effect of usingAI for learning simulations on student learning engagement atUniversitas HKBP Nommensen Medan. This research employed aquantitative approach with a causal associative research design.Data were collected through a survey method by distributingquestionnaires to students using probability sampling with asimple random sampling technique. The collected data wereanalyzed using simple linear regression analysis. The resultsindicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for learningsimulations has a positive and significant effect on studentlearning engagement, suggesting that AI utilization can serve asan effective learning strategy to enhance student engagement inhigher education.Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Learning Engagement, HigherEducation
