Abstract

We extend the Operator-Derived Dimension (ODD) framework to demonstrate the geometric origin of the speed of light, c. In standard physics, c is a fundamental postulate. In ODD, we show that c emerges as the invariant causal slope of the warped five-dimensional geometry preserved by the Transverse Slicing Operator. Specifically, c corresponds to the geometric ratio of the spatial and temporal curvature radii defined by the topological sphere-on-sphere intersection that generates the observer’s slice. This establishes c not as an arbitrary constant, but as a structural property of the bulk embedding.
