Abstract
Even in the Marutham region, where promiscuity was widely discussed, an environment conducive to clandestine love affairs existed. This article explains, based on the concept of 'concealment becoming chastity' the circumstances under which the hero engages in extramarital affairs due to various factors such as conception, childbirth, wealth, and prosperity.
