Coherence as a Unifying Physical Principle (LM): A Historical Closure of Classical and Modern Physics
Abstract
In this work, I present a historical and conceptual closure of a physical framework based on coherence as a fundamental organizing variable. Rather than proposing an alternative theory opposed to classical or modern physics, this article provides a structural synthesis that makes explicit what remained implicit in the formulations of Maxwell, Einstein, Planck, Schrödinger, and Boltzmann.I show that fields, forces, quantization, spacetime curvature, entropy, and consciousness can be understood as emergent manifestations of different regimes of coherence. In doing so, this work addresses a long-standing gap in physics: the absence of a physical principle explaining why these equations work and what they describe ontologically. This article serves as a historical closure rather than a technical endpoint, reframing physical law as an emergent consequence of coherence.
