Ants and Ant_Colony_Time_Resilient_Intelligence
Abstract
Ant colonies represent one of the most enduring biological systems on Earth, persisting for over 140 million years through extreme environmental change. This paper proposes that ant colonies function as an in-built evolutionary technology: a distributed, self-correcting, and time-resilient intelligence system. By synthesizing insights from evolutionary biology, swarm intelligence, systems engineering, and futures studies, this paper argues that decoding ant colony principles can inform the design of resilient human institutions, aligned artificial intelligence systems, and sustainable interstellar civilizations.
