A Formal Demonstration of NDT-Quality: A Tool for Measuring the Quality using NDT Methodology
Abstract
Any methodology of any domain (particularly in the context of Software Engineering) needs support tools in order to be used in real environments easily. This paper presents a formal demonstration of NDT-Quality: a Java tool which gives support to enterprises that are using NDT (Navigational Development Techniques) in their projects. Specifically, this tool allows measuring and managing the quality of Web projects developed with NDT. NDT is a MDWE (Model-Driven Web Engineering) methodology and thanks to its tool, organizations can reap the benefits of MDWE paradigm without suffering collateral problems such as traceability problems and the necessity of managing constraints in meta-model instances and transformation executions. The management of these aspects is usually executed manually in the most of the MDWE approaches. Nevertheless, the Model-Driven paradigm itself can offer suitable ways to manage them.
