Online Shipping Management System (ShipEasy) – A Django-Based Web Application

The Online Shipping Management System (ShipEasy) is a web-based application developed as a Major Project for Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA).The system is designed to digitalize and automate the complete shipment lifecycle, including shipment creation, payment processing, delivery partner management, OTP-based verification, and real-time shipment tracking. This project provides three different user roles: User (Customer) – creates shipments, makes online payments, tracks shipment status and live location. Admin – manages shipments, assigns delivery partners, monitors overall system activity. Delivery Partner – confirms pickup and delivery using OTP, updates live location, and handles offline payments. The application is developed using the Django framework, with SQLite database, Bootstrap-based responsive UI, email notifications, and Razorpay payment gateway integration.The system ensures security, transparency, and efficiency in shipment management.
