The SACCADE Model as Structural Verification: Cross-Domain Case Studies in Physical and Biological Systems
Abstract
This preprint applies the SACCADE model (Signal → Arrival → Context → Constraint → Adaptation → Distribution → Evolution) as a structural verification framework for evaluating explanatory models across physical, biological, legal, and medical systems. Rather than proposing new mechanisms, the paper uses cross-domain case studies—including crystallization, biological homeostasis, DNA organization, regulatory classification, and brain health—to test whether commonly accepted explanations preserve lawful ordering once constraint and execution are enforced. Misalignment is treated as a structural failure, not a factual dispute. This work complements The SACCADE Rules by demonstrating how invariant structural constraints can be used to verify models without replacing domain-specific theories.
