Abstract

This record presents the P1–P3 Operational Monitoring Protocol (v4.0), a reproducible framework for detecting long-range dependence (LRD) and structural anomalies in time-series data, with applications to quantum key distribution (QKD) and complex systems monitoring. The protocol combines three falsifiable validation layers: (P1) monotonic scaling verification, (P2) surrogate-based falsification using phase-randomized null models, (P3) estimator consistency and bootstrap stability checks. The release includes a full methodological and empirical validation report (PDF), reproducible datasets (synthetic fractional Gaussian noise, physiological HRV data, and QKD-like attack simulations), reference figures, and supporting code. The framework is designed for operational monitoring and complements, rather than replaces, theoretical security proofs. This Zenodo record serves as a citable scientific artifact accompanying the open-source implementation hosted on GitHub.
