Abstract

'The paper explores the potential of drones (UAVs) as an innovative technology for optimizing middle mile logistics, the supply chain segment that connects major sorting and distribution nodes. Drone technology is seen as a solution to improve speed, efficiency, and sustainability, especially for transporting specific goods over long distances or to hard-to-reach areas.
