Abstract

This preprint presents τ-Cryptography, a cryptographic framework formulated and evaluated through internal time (τ) rather than external clock-time (t). The central construction uses compiled resonant fields to generate a keystream for encryption in a reproducibility-first manner, explicitly treating deterministic execution and cross-platform consistency as part of the security-relevant specification rather than “implementation detail.” In the spirit of Thomas Kuhn’s paradigm-shift methodology, this work is offered as a falsifiable technical artifact intended to be reviewed under the proposed τ-lens: the paper’s definitions, constraints, and verification practices are designed to close the model–implementation gap that often appears when security evaluation remains implicitly tied to t-based assumptions. What the paper includes A complete system specification with two operational modes, including a confidentiality-focused mode evaluated under standard indistinguishability notions. A formal security framing for the confidentiality mode (IND-CPA) under a random-oracle style argument. A strict reproducibility specification, including canonical encoding rules and deterministic conventions intended to make independent verification consistent across platforms. Explicit limitations and a roadmap for stronger security goals and deployment-grade composition. How to read / verify Readers are invited to (i) assess the construction within the stated threat model, (ii) reproduce the deterministic components using the provided specification conventions, and (iii) test claims using transparent acceptance criteria. Constructive cryptanalysis, replication reports, and implementation feedback are welcomed. τ-cryptography; internal time; post-quantum cryptography; stream encryption; compiled fields; resonance; provable security; IND-CPA; random oracle model; deterministic encoding; reproducibility; side-channel awareness; cybersecurity.
