Cosmological Aliasing:Resolving the Hubble Tension via Discrete Spacetime Granularity
Abstract
The persistent 4σ ∼ 6σ discrepancy between the Hubble constant (H0) measured in the early universe (CMB) and the late universe (SNIa) remains the paramount crisis in modern cosmology. While standard approaches invoke adhoc dark energy fluids or systematic errors,we propose a fundamental geometric resolution based on Causal Holographic Dynamics(CHD). We introduce the concept of Cosmological Aliasing, which posits that the tension is an observational artifact arising from the intrinsic ”discrete granularity” of spacetime sampling at different cosmic horizons. We derive a modified Friedmann equation incorporating a Quantum Aliasing Factor Q(H), governed by the spacetime resolution exponent γ ≈ 1.323 determined from microscopic causal networks. In the high-curvature early universe, aliasing effects suppress theeffective expansion rate; in the lowcurvature late universe, spacetime approaches the continuum limit, recovering standard dynamics. Without introducing new fields or free parameters, our model quantitatively bridges the gap between the Planck value (67.4 km/s/Mpc) and the SH0ES value (74.0 km/s/Mpc). This result suggests that the Hubble tension is not a breakdown of physics, but the first direct observational signature of the transition from discrete quantum geometry to continuum spacetime.
