Exploring the interactions of lipid nanoparticles with tumor cells using confocal Raman microscopy (Conference Abstract)
Abstract
To expand the use of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to novel applications, such as to treat extra-hepatic solid tumors, a deeper understanding of LNP-cell interactions is required. Observing how LNPs behave within individual tumor cells is therefore essential. In this study, we used Confocal Raman microscopy (CRM) to achieve this goal. CRM combines the spectral specificity of Raman spectroscopy with the spatial precision of confocal microscopy, enabling the identification of unique molecular fingerprints at subcellular resolution.
