ANÁLISE EPIDEMIOLÓGICA DA VIOLÊNCIA CONTRA A MULHER NO MUNICÍPIO DE JATAÍ NO ANO DE 2024

Resumo: A violência contra as mulheres é uma grave violação dos direitos humanos e um problema de saúde pública de proporções pandêmicas. Este é um problema mundial ligado ao poder, privilégios e controle masculinos. Atinge as mulheres independentemente de idade, cor, etnia, religião, nacionalidade, orientação sexual ou condição social. Desta forma, questiona-se como está a sua prevalência nos dias atuais. O objetivo é analisar o perfil epidemiológico da violência contra a mulher no município de Jataí, Goiás, no ano de 2024, com base nos dados de notificações do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação (Sinan). Foram identificados um total de 444 ocorrências de violência contra a mulher no ano de 2024 no respectivo município, em que a maioria das ocorrências, foram ocasionadas em mulheres que se autodeclaram da raça parda (81.08%), com a prevalência de ocorrência de violência física em 31,31% e de violência sexual em 4,50% dos casos registrados. A violência contra a mulher é uma prática utilizada para demonstrar superioridade masculina frente a mulher, colocando-a em posição de inferioridade e insignificância. Sendo assim, diante do exposto, é notório a necessidade de modificar essa realidade existente e erradicar a prática da violência contra a mulher socialmente. This is a worldwide problem linked to male power, privilege and control. It affects women regardless of age, color, ethnicity, religion, nationality, sexual orientation or social condition. Thus, it is questioned how its prevalence is today. The objective is to analyze the epidemiological profile of violence against women in the municipality of Jataí, Goiás, in the year 2024, based on notification data from the Notifiable Diseases Information System (Sinan). A total of 444 occurrences of violence against women were identified in 2024 in the respective municipality, in which most of the occurrences were caused in women who self-declare themselves to be of the brown race (81.08%), with the prevalence of physical violence in 31.31% and sexual violence in 4.50% of the registered cases. Violence against women is a practice used to demonstrate male superiority over women, placing them in a position of inferiority and insignificance. Therefore, in view of the above, the need to modify this existing reality and eradicate the practice of violence against women socially is notorious.
