What if We're Wrong?
Abstract
This manuscript is an interdisciplinary companion work to the earlier What If Theory preprint. It expands and deepens the original inquiry by synthesising evidence from archaeology, geology, climatology, astronomy, biology, systems theory, and mathematics. Rather than proposing a single replacement narrative, this work examines points of tension between existing historical models and independent lines of evidence, with particular attention to collapse dynamics, preservation bias, submerged landscapes, material constraints, and the loss of contextual knowledge over time. The manuscript is intentionally non-academic in authorship while remaining evidence-led in approach. It is presented as a completed, open framework designed to invite scrutiny, verification, and challenge across disciplines, rather than to assert definitive conclusions. This work does not claim proof of alternative histories or external intervention. Instead, it asks whether prevailing assumptions about linear progress, human capability, and historical continuity adequately account for the evidence currently available. Readers are encouraged to independently examine the referenced data, question the framework presented, and use this manuscript as a starting point for further investigation rather than an authoritative endpoint.
