Abstract

Abstract: Femicides result from contexts marked by previous violence, thus constituting signs and risk factors that impact women's lives multidimensionally. This study seeks to understand, based on the experiences of women who have suffered attempted femicide, the risk factors for the intentional and misogynistic murders of women. This is a qualitative study involving the participation of five women who have suffered attempted femicide. Data acquisition will be conducted through semi-structured interviews, and the analysis will be conducted in light of dialectical historical materialism. It is extremely important to identify the risk factors for the violent annihilation of women so that mechanisms for preventing, confronting, and curbing these extreme acts of violence are able to be strengthened and, above all, guaranteed. Keywords: Feminicide; Gender; Psychosocial Impacts; Risk Factors.
