Software developed for the manuscript "Detection and Characterization of Microlensing Events due to Isolated Black Holes in the Rubin Observations"
Abstract
Here, there are some codes which were developed for the manuscript "Detection and Characterization of Microlensing Events due to Isolated Black Holes in the Rubin Observations (https://arxiv.org/abs/2608.16448)".There are some C++ codes which are the main codes. They do Monte-Carlo simulations of gravitational microlensing events due to Isolated Black Holes (IBHs) by considering different mass functions towards LMC and SMC. We apply the Rubin survey observations to simulations and based on OpSim outputs (its baseline_v5.1 strategy). In these codes, we also calculate Fisher and Covariance matrices for detectable events to estimate the errors in their physical and lensing parameters. The codes scan two maps towards LMC and SMC. For each grid in these maps the codes calculate the statistical and lensing parameters of detectable microlensing events. "lightN_paper.py" plots light curves and astrometric trajectories. Some examples of these light curves and astrometric trajectories are LC.jpg and Traj*.jpg which are attached. Other python codes plot the resulted maps and efficiencies.
