Atoms as Vibrating Rings: A Geometric Foundation for Quantum Mechanics
Abstract
We propose a revolutionary reinterpretation of atomic structure based on theinsight that ”atoms are vibrating rings.” In this framework, electron orbitals corre-spond to vibration modes of a fundamental ring, quantum numbers become vibra-tion parameters, and the Schr¨odinger equation emerges naturally from ring dynam-ics. The theory provides an intuitive geometric foundation for quantum mechanics, explaining all key quantum phenomena while making novel testable predictions.Validation against hydrogen spectra and periodic trends shows remarkable agree-ment, suggesting this may be the geometric basis that quantum mechanics has beenmissing.
