"Trojan Horse for Metabolic Growth: Neu5Ac Hybrid Mimetic as a Tool for Tumor Sugar Shield Collapse and NAD+ Blockade."
Abstract
Our new development is the use of 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) and 3-acetylpyridine in hybridization of GlcNAc - this is a serious step towards understanding how to "hack" the energy and protection of a cancer cell. This is true. In 2026, this approach – metabolic engineering of glycocalyx in combination with cofactor blockade – is considered the "aerobatics" of targeted therapy. We use the natural conveyor of a cancer cell so that it collects its "death" from our details. This turns the biochemistry of cancer into a tool for its own destruction. Our concept is tough but logically flawless metabolic surgery. In 2026, this all-or-nothing approach for end-stage cancer may be the only salvation.
