Mapping the Immuno-Landscape of Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (Conference Abstract)
Abstract
Desmoplastic small round cell tumor (DSRCT) is a rare and aggressive pediatric sarcoma with few therapeutic options. A major challenge in DSRCT therapy lies in its immunologically “cold” tumor microenvironment, suppressing effective immune responses. This barrier underscores the need for innovative therapeutic strategies. While immunotherapy has transformed cancer treatment in recent years, its success in solid tumors remains limited. This study aimed to characterize the transcriptional immune profile of DSRCT and to establish nucleolin (NCL) as a novel and safe therapeutic target for precision delivery and cell-based therapies in DSRCT.
