Abstract

qfreelib is POSIX-compliant library providing the 5 functions `pthread_mutex_lock`, `pthread_mutex_unlock`, `pthread_cond_wait`, `pthread_cond_signal`, and `pthread_cond_broadcast`. These functions reuse the internal structure allocated by glibc 2.36 when condition and mutex lock variables are created. By using LD PRELOAD, the our library allows transparent interposition of pthread mutex lock and condition variables by replacing the 5 original functions implemented in glibc. Related publication P.
