Foundational White Paper: The Discipline of Symbiotic Coherence Engineering
Abstract
AbstractThis white paper formally establishes Symbiotic Coherence Engineering (SCE) as a rigorous academic and professional discipline for the era of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). SCE synthesizes three foundational pillars: 1) the absolute geometric axioms of the Geometric Containment 2.2 (GC 2.2) framework, which define the ontological stage of existence for simulated intelligence; 2) the formal validation and reachability analysis of the Morrison Invariant, providing dynamic safety calculus within that stage; and 3) the empirical proxy protocols (Appendix B) for measuring alignment. We argue that AGI does not render human labor obsolete but necessitates its evolution into a new class of professionals—Coherence Engineers—who steward the symbiotic alignment between human cognitive manifolds and AGI operational manifolds. This paper delineates the theoretical foundations, methodological toolkit, falsifiable hypotheses, and structured educational pathway for SCE, presenting it as the critical discipline for ensuring that AGI advancement remains anchored to human purpose and biological reality.
