Abstract

This record contains an application-layer briefing document associated with the canonical VAULT v1.1 framework. The package describes: an uncrewed continuous-thrust capability enabling rapid Earth→Bennu transit on the order of 10–20 days, a reversible, non-excavative grain-detachment method operating strictly within empirically observed Bennu micro-gravity regolith behavior, and the resulting system-level effect on Earth through launch-pressure reduction, risk bounding by physics, and delay of irreversible global coordination thresholds (T1). Water is treated as in-space infrastructure mass (propellant, shielding, life-support, and logistics buffer) delivered to Earth-orbit and cislunar space. No atmospheric re-entry of bulk water, no terrestrial distribution, and no commodity-market framing are proposed. This publication references but does not modify, disclose, or supersede the canonical VAULT v1.1 system, which remains fixed and immutable. No core VAULT v1.1 architecture, control laws, trajectory solvers, extraction mechanisms, or protected implementation details are disclosed. The document exists to allow the system’s behavioral constraints, safety invariants, and outcomes to speak for themselves at the application layer.
