Center of the Universe - Triangulation of the Local Expansion via ODD Bulk Kinematics
Abstract
We present a unified geometric resolution to two major observational anomalies in modern cosmology: the Hubble Tension (5σ discrepancy in expansion rates) and Cosmic Birefringence (parity-violating rotation of the cosmic microwave background polarization plane). Within the Operator-Derived Dimension (ODD) framework, these are not separate phenomena requiring novel dark sector physics, but rather coupled kinematic and geometric consequences of a single mechanism: the rotation of a 5D hyperspherical bulk.We explicitly derive the bulk rotation rate (Hspin ≈ 16.8 km/s/Mpc) required to resolve the Hubble Tension by reconciling local (equatorial) and global (spherical-average) measurements. We then demonstrate that this exact geometric shear, when projected through the topological instanton action of the 4D domain wall (SE = 4π2), rigorously predicts a maximal cosmic birefringence angle of β ≈ 0.43◦. This parameter-free derivation is consistent with recent Planck constraints. The framework establishes strictly anisotropic, falsifiable bounds for both cosmic expansion and polarization rotation.
