Abstract

A new combination is proposed for Panicum mesocomum Nees under Urochloa P.Beauv. as Urochloa mesocoma (Nees) R.Kr.Singh. To fix the application of the name and prevent misapplication, a lectotype is designated for Panicum mesocomum Nees.
