Genomic Access Dysregulation Model (ADS Framework)
Abstract
The human genome comprises approximately 3.1 billion base pairs and around 20,000 protein-coding genes. Despite identical genomic sequences across cells, phenotypic diversity emerges from tissue-specific gene access control governed by chromatin architecture, transcription factor binding, and epigenetic modifications. Here, we propose the Genomic- Cryptography Model, a novel conceptual framework interpreting gene access regulation as a layered biological authorization system analogous to cryptographic access control. We introduce the Access Distortion Score (ADS) to quantify aberrant accessibility patterns by integrating ATAC-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, and epigenetic aging signatures. This framework provides testable hypotheses for computational validation using existing Alzheimer’s disease datasets.
