LONG-TERM PRESENCE OF A LARGE FOREIGN BODY IN THE RESPIRATORY TRACT IN CHILDREN. (CASE STUDY)
Abstract
The authors present a clinical case of a pediatric patient with a foreign body (part of a pen) in the left main bronchus. The foreign body had been present for three months and caused minor symptoms. The patient underwent bronchoscopy under general anesthesia with mechanical ventilation. The foreign body was removed from the airway. This observation highlights the need for a complete and timely physical examination of patients with respiratory pathology..
