The Philosophical Journey: From Question to System
Abstract
A structured philosophical exploration beginning with a practical question about guilt over hiding AI use in work, progressing through systematic inquiry into autonomy, authenticity, free will, consciousness, and reductionism. The framework develops a complete theory proposing that human autonomy emerges from quantum indeterminacy (providing ontological openness) interacting with consciously rearrangeable conditional structures built from experience. It establishes acceptance/rejection as the atomic unit of consciousness, defines autonomy as a gradient proportional to layers of self-understanding rather than binary freedom, and positions philosophy as cognitive engineering—building explicit frameworks that internalize into refined intuitive action.
