Personal Theory of Multitasking and Work Orchestration
Abstract
This framework addresses procrastination through controlled multitasking, analyzing how work engages three human capacities (Mind, Heart, Body) across multiple dimensions: work direction (In→Out, Out→In, Both), mental-physical spectrum (Mental to Physical), and process mode (Manual to Automated). It establishes that effective multitasking requires cross-channel pairing within strict capacity limits (maximum 2 manual tasks on different channels), distinguishes between feedback generation and feedback value, and explains why manual processing preserves meta-control while automation sacrifices awareness for efficiency.
