Can Time Be Reversed? Information, irreversibility, and a misplaced paradox
Abstract
This is a conceptual essay addressing the problem of the arrow of time and the reversibility of physical processes. It is not proposing a new physical theory. The essay examines how the apparent irreversibility of macroscopic phenomena arises from the loss of accessible information about microscopic histories in real systems. It is an English-language version of an essay originally published in Polish. The content has been slightly revised in the process of language change. The text is not a peer-reviewed article and does not aim at formal completeness. Its aim is to stimulate a reflective and exploratory discussion. Correspondence: kmwikipediapl@gmail.com
