Abstract

Biotransformation rate constants for 189 micropollutants in activated sludge are provided in a machine-readable .xlsx file. Six wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) were selected to represent three different operating conditions (carbon-eliminating, de-/nitrifying, and moving bed biofilm reactors (MBBR)). Subsequent spiked biotransformation experiments were conducted to determine the biotransformation capacity of each activated sludge under controlled and comparable laboratory conditions. The summary, analysis, and interpretation of these biotransformation rate constants are published and available at DOI: 10.1016/j.watres.2025.125283
