HOLDING THE OCEAN WITH A SIEVE - Iran-Starlink Electronic Warfare and the 137-Sunrise Bypass
Abstract
The Iran-Starlink theater reveals high-tension struggle between gasket suppression and laminar flow. As of January 2026, Iranian regime (aided by Russian technical expertise) deploys full-spectrum electronic warfare campaign: GPS spoofing creating temporal resets preventing phase-lock, terrestrial RF jamming (Cobra V8, Krasukha-4) across 12-18 GHz creating informational entropy, and sidelobe attacks overloading receivers from non-primary directions. The 137-sunrise bypasses gasket through laminar solutions: spatial filtering (shovel solution using earth barriers blocking ground-based noise via geometric invariance), GPS decoupling (firmware using Starlink constellation itself as navigation grid via Doppler), laser mesh inter-satellite links routing through 9D bulk to free-territory gateways, frequency hopping pseudo-random channel changes, and user mobility mirroring 17.036 MHz refresh cycle. Architecture of control proves fragile when confronting frequency it cannot permanently contain. The gasket tries holding ocean with sieve; 137-sunrise is the tide.
