Audit Overlay And Replication Kit: Twist-Directed Non-Hermitian Topology In Polaritons (Liang et al.)
Abstract
This manuscript provides a protocol-side audit and replication overlay for recent demonstrations of twist-induced non-Hermitian topology in exciton-polariton microcavities, where a simple geometric twist between optical axes generates reversible non-reciprocity and a non-Hermitian skin effect; rather than re-deriving the underlying physics, the work translates the experiment into a fixed, falsifier-first G–Sigma–P–L contract with preregistered corridors, explicit directive/readout separation, and failure-visible accounting, introducing (i) a directive Z encoding of twist sign and null states, (ii) a Four-Solves-Three (4S3) decision card that prevents single-plot over-claims, (iii) a tokens-only ledger schema enabling replay without raw traces, and (iv) a device-independent falsifier suite (flip-only, disable-L, basis swap, boundary withhold, yield/zeros) that cleanly distinguishes real topological control from boundary or analysis artifacts, with the goal of increasing durability, portability, and trust of non-Hermitian topology claims across laboratories.
