Abstract

Standard Kaluza-Klein (KK) theories unify gravity and electromagnetism by introducing a fifth compactified dimension, parameterized by a scalar field (dilaton), φ. While typically treated as a constant in low-energy limits, this paper proposes that φ acts as a variable regulator of the local vacuum impedance, Ξ. We postulate an inverse relation, Ξ ∝ φ⁻¹, implying that high-frequency electromagnetic resonance within a cavity can dynamically perturb the scalar field expectation value. We derive a modified geodesic equation in the 5D metric which predicts a non-zero "radionic" force acting on matter along the gradient of the vacuum impedance. This framework suggests that a spatially asymmetrical, high-Q RF cavity operating at microwave frequencies (1.43 GHz) generates a net thrust vector without propellant ejection. We present the theoretical derivation and the design of the "Mark Zero" experimental setup intended to falsify the hypothesis using a torsional balance configuration.
