Abstract

Biogenic amines (BAs) pose a significant threat to food safety and can cause adverse health effects. The development of innovative sensing materials for the optical detection of BAs is crucial for monitoring food quality. This dataset contains raw spectral data obtained from UV-Vis absorption and fluorescence emission spectra for five naphtho[2,3-b]indolizine-6,11-dione derivatives. The data characterize the optical response of these fluorophores to the sequential addition of putrescine (PUT).
