Ultra Large Cosmic Web Filaments as Direct MID Ridge Signatures
Abstract
Ultra‑large cosmic filaments are shown to be direct fossilized signatures of MID substrate ridge dynamics. In this framework, the cosmic web emerges from early‑epoch tension‑wave interference, producing elongated standing‑wave ridges that later guide matter aggregation. This paper develops the physical mechanism behind ridge formation, demonstrates how early coherence patterns fossilize into large‑scale structure, and compares MID predictions with ΛCDM expectations across filament coherence lengths, void boundary sharpness, early‑epoch timelines, and lensing anisotropy. The results support the interpretation of observed ultra‑large filaments as preserved tension pathways within the MID substrate.
