Abstract

Release v1.0 of AidNet, a deep neural network (DNN) hearing aid model for optimal restoration of central neural coding. The provided AidNet model was developed to compensate for a mild high-frequency hearing loss profile and can be used to process any sound such that neural activity in the inferior colliculus (IC) is restored to normal. This release provides a Jupyter notebook with a simple usage example for the AidNet model and sound examples.
