Version 0.3 advances the discussion by asking a deeper question: Why is it so difficult for humansto continue holding the initiative of understanding? Why the Socratic Model Reappears The Socratic Model is not exclusive to philosophers. It reflects a natural human tendency. Continuous judgment is exhausting Bearing responsibility for mistakes is heavy Acting under incomplete understanding is frightening Delegating initiative and postponing decisionsreduces psychological burden. In this sense, the Socratic Model is a highly efficient coping structure. When Efficiency Becomes a Problem The problem arises when this structure becomes permanent. Questions circulate endlessly. No one decides.Responsibility for progress dissolves. As a result: Those who act bear disproportionate risk Those who question remain safe Un-understandability becomes an excuse Rather than deepening thought, this structure halts progress. What the Anti-Socratic Model Seeks The Anti-Socratic Model does not reject questioning. It seeks to prevent abandonment of inquiry. Anti-Socratic Model (provisional)A structure in which questions are preserved, initiative and responsibility are assumed, action proceeds under incomplete understanding, and initiative is transferred only after understanding is established. The core is not possessing correct answers, but maintaining progress. Not a Binary Opposition, but a Transition Model The two models are not moral opposites. Everyone retreats into the Socratic Model at times—when tired, uncertain, or overwhelmed. The Anti-Socratic Model functions as a transition framework, returning inquiry to progress. Conclusion Questioning and progress can coexist. But only when someone is willingto temporarily assume initiative and responsibility. Questions that merely circulate do not think.Only questions carried forwardcreate the next understanding.
