Objection 1 “Isn’t questioning itself a form of thinking?” Questioning is an entry point to thinking, but it is not its completion. When questions circulate without responsibility for progress, the result is not thought, but stagnation. The Anti-Socratic Model does not reject questions;it addresses the responsibility to connect questions to movement. Objection 2 “Does assuming initiative lead to authoritarianism?” This concern is legitimate. However, initiative in the Anti-Socratic Modelis not permanent authority. Initiative is a temporary custodyuntil understanding is sufficiently established. The design includes not holding power indefinitely, but knowing when to transfer it. Objection 3 “Does this undermine the autonomy of the recipient?” The model does not deny autonomy. Demanding autonomy before understanding existsis itself a form of abandonment. Autonomy gains meaningonly after understanding has developed. Objection 4 “There is no time or capacity for this in reality.” Lack of capacity is real. Yet structures in which no one assumes initiativeonly deepen stagnation. The Anti-Socratic Model does not demand perfection. It requires that someone temporarily assume responsibility, allowing progress to resume. Interim Conclusion These objections do not weaken the model;they clarify why it is necessary. Questions matter. But questions alone do not move forward. Only questions carried with responsibilityenable the next stage of understanding.
